Track riders featured prominently in the IVCA prize winners presented at the IVCA Awards Diknner in the Springfield Hotel on Sunday (29th Nov). Highlight of the evening was a special award presented to Terry Cromer in recognition of the Silver Medal he won at the European Masters Track Championship and a speech by former National Track Sprint Champion, Eddie Dunne on Irish Track Racing.
Terry also received the medals he won in the IVCA Track Championships as did Eddie who gave a masterful display in the Sprint. Terry and his wife Maureen were invited as guests to the dinner was very appreciative of the support of the IVCA in sponsoring the IVCA Track Championships and their support for our club and track racing in general. Terry was also honoured at the Cycling Ireland Dinner and as he says himself.............he has got great mileage out of that 500m!
